Visible architectures for catalyzing CIWC
Visible architectures are those that are perceptible by our organic senses. They are opposed to
invisible architectures.
In this article we will try to build a shortlist of those
visible architectures and see how they can be improved in order to maximize
CIWC.
Shortlist of visible architectures
Spatial architecture: this is the most obvious one. It is the 3D environment that surrounds us, such as buildings, furniture, urban design, etc. See
Spatial architecture for CIWC.
Acoustic architecture: this is the way the sounds are going to flow. The acoustic context is not the same in a noisy restaurant, in a meditation room or in an open office. Although the acoustic architecture is directly connected to the spatial one, it is possible to alter and improve it without changing the whole physical environment. This is why the distinction between spatial and acoustic architectures is important. See Acoustic architecture for CIWC
?.
Light architecture: luminous, dark? Does the light comes from one source or multiple sources? What kind of light is this?
Time: time is different depending on which level of our being we talk (vital, emotional, mental, soul...). Therefore organization of time, and the perceptive context we build is also an essential piece.
Food: what we eat or not eat, the way it is cooked, presented, ingested has as strong influence on individual and collective behavior.
Natural environment: urban, country, rain forest, mountain, hot, cold, dry, wet... what hemisphere, what latitude and longitude? The natural environment is of course an essential piece too.
