Research Project 01:
Issue
Most communities involved in the
socioeconomy are not Internet litterate, this means that:
- they are not well represented nor interconnected with other communities
- learning, sharing experience and cross-fertilizing are limited
- self-awareness as a global movement is absent or very low
- inner efficiency is limited because no digital collective memory and no asynchronous processes
- activities cannot reach a high level of complexity nor wide geographical range because their interest is limited at the local level
- no feedback loop? tools are available to contribute in stabilizing the whole system (no matter whether this is just barter or currency-based)
Even less communities are aware about
collective intelligence and how they could dramatically increase it with the right methodologies, technologies and training.
Objectives
Explore what the core needs are for these communities wherever they are and whatever the context. This should help to feed
Action Project 03 (AP03).
Project description
Explore common technological and methodological needs for socioeconomic communities. A step by step roadmap should be proposed.
Methodology
This investigation should be done first by contacting communities that already have an internet site, for the following reasons:
- They are much easier to identify and get in touch with
- It is easier to see what their needs are and they are much more able to express their needs
In a second period, other communities should be explored.
