We need a system which will not
create greed or wanting for oneself, but rather will encourage people to want for the good of the community and the world. This is important to prevent us from destroying the world in nuclear war or just plain pollution.
Just thinking out loud here, but how about this...
Suppose we have a system where when someone makes money, it doesn't go to that person, but rather is divided as follows. 20 percent goes to that person. 50 percent goes equally to all other members of the group that person belongs to. That would be a group of 20 people, selected by free choice. The remaining 20 percent goes to everyone in the world.
The idea being that in order for a person to make money, one is encouraged to help others become more effective workers. In that small group of 20 people, if one of those people comes up with an idea on how to make the others work faster, he or she shares it with the group, thus improving the productiveness of that group.
An idea which improves a person's work efficiency by 10 percent, will only benifit that person by 2 percent if that person keeps it to himself or herself. Share it with the group, and it is an additional 5 percent increase.
The groups are not simple groups, but rather each person picks his or her own group members, who have to agree to the selection. All members of person A's group have person A in common, but that might be the only person they have in common. Each person's group is different.
So, suppose person A comes up with an idea which will improve the efficiency of all members of person A's group. Now, there are up to 19 additional groups which each have one person in them, with this new idea. Each of those 19 people would benefit by telling the other members of their groups this new idea.
Still just thinking out loud on this. Don't know if it is a good idea or not yet, but it is something to think about.
The problem is it lacks a system to pay for thinking work. The Capitalist System has this problem, and what happens is that money of any type produces
Evolutionary Pressure which pushes the system in certain ways, which severely limit the thinking process. New innovation is created solely determined by what makes money.
Collaborative Money is still money. It still will act like Capitalism in this respect. Not as bad, probably, due to its self balancing or distributing effect. I'm not saying we need to scrap the idea, just that we need to consider this, perhaps we can find solutions to these problems.
