Schumacher conference, "Local Currencies in the 21st Century" which took place June 25-28 at Bard College and brought roughly 300 people from all over the world to Bard college to discuss the latest thought around local, complemtary and community currencies and monetary reform in general. Shays Rebellion
--a popular rebellion against the American Governments failure to honor the Contenental currency issued to finance the Revolution.
