I live in Dordogne in the Perigord Noir.
There I initiated a multicultural permaculture community in 2002.

I also work for Geolog, an Italian oil service company (mudlogging), as a base manager in Malongo, Cabinda, Angola.
I'm setting our new base to support our operations with Chevron.
At the moment I'm involved in two projects on Transition Towns:
- I'm part of a team "Les Jardins de Babylone" making a documentary on Transition Towns and practical solutions to the problems of Peak Oil and Global Warming.
- I'm also part of a team translating documentation to be able to launch Transition Initiatives in France. We have a google group:
Objectif-Resilience
. At the moment we are finalizing the translation of "The Transition Initiative Primer", a practical guide for starting a Transition Initiative. The wiki is available there:
Objectif-Resilience
In the coming months, I intend to launch a Transition Initiative in a village close to my home in Dordogne.
I hope to be able to get out of the oil industry soon to be able to concentrate more on sustainable development.
